To have a happy and fulfilling life, here are the 10 positive emotions suggested by Tony Robbins that we must cultivate every day. I added my own understanding to each one.

1. Love and warmth: If you want to receive love and warmth from other people, you must first put yourself in this state. The more you give love and warmth, the more likely you will receive them from others.


2. Appreciation and gratitude: These two emotions are the antidotes of fear. Starting your day with a short meditation thinking about 3 things that you feel grateful for in your life can set a positive tone for the entire day.


3. Curiosity: Whatever challenges you are facing, physical, emotional or spiritual, get curious about what message it is delivering to you. If you get curious and want to figure out the solutions, challenges become the opportunities for you to grow.


4. Excitement and passion: Excitement and passion comes from the purpose of a life that is results focused, purpose driven, and with massive action plan.


5. Determination: Decide that you want to get the results. You will not give up until you finish the project and get the results. The results may vary, but if you give it all you have, you are always a winner. There is no failure unless you accept it as so. There is only temporary defeat in life that gives us the chance to learn from it, change our approach, and succeed.


6. Flexibility: If what you tried did not work, try it another way. Flexibility means adapting to the changing environment so that you always focus on what you CAN control and change instead of what you CANNOT control.


7. Confidence: The ultimate confidence does not come from comparing yourself to others. It comes from the understanding that everyone of us has the capability to learn any skills and become a master. It takes determination, efforts, and patience.


8. Cheerfulness: Share your positive emotions with others. By lifting other people up, you will feel good too. Celebrating other people’s success sincerely is to invite that into your life too.


9. Feeling healthy: Take care of your physical body. It is foundation of everything else. Eat healthy, exercise, and rest well.


10. Sense of contribution: The ultimate fulfillment in life comes from adding value to others and to the world we live in.
